Yes, you can park a bicycle that way.

In May I was hanging out in Amsterdam. I like Amsterdam more when I am kind of wondering and discovering new ways to get to places. Well hanging out, living and working in Amsterdam you learn one thing: everybody needs to park.

As everybody needs to park I always pay attention to how people park. It does not matter that it is a bicycle, moped, car or even tour bus. When someone does it well you walk on, get on with your day. When someone fails, you watch as he or she is trying to not make it worse. It is amusing and in a city where parking space is expensive you appreciate neat parking. Bad parking can literally lead to traffic and accidents.

You can own the ground. So?

Now what to lock?

An alley is convenient.

Hard to explain. Sometimes you see something and look again. Parking…

These photos still give me a chuckle. If you ever walk around in Amsterdam look at how people sometimes park their bicycles. It can be very amusing.
